Abstract

This report explores the existing literature in the area of multimedia applications. It presents a review of literature focusing on: the reasons explaining why multimedia enhances learning, examples of successful use of multimedia applications and ways technology is used to assess learners. This report also describes a program, which can be used to create and deliver multimedia exams. A study was contacted with college undergraduate students in order to investigate students? and professor?s attitudes towards the multimedia exam. The results of the study indicated that the majority of the students and the professor demonstrated positive attitudes towards the multimedia exams.
